How do I make a Golf Santee vacation reservation or get a quote?
Contact Golf Santee by email or phone with your desired golf vacation details and reservationists will make your room reservations and tee times. Golf Santee is one stop shopping for your golf vacation experience. Customized quotes give golfers the convenience of speeding through the information stage of making a reservation after consulting the other members of the group.

What is required to make a reservation?
Golf Santee requires the name, mailing address, phone number and email address of at least one person in the group. This person becomes the ‘group leader’ through which all correspondence about your golf vacation are made. Initially a credit card is required to hold the reservation. Deposit and balance information varies per property.

Can I get a room to myself?
Yes, although most of our packages are advertised at double or quad occupancy levels, single occupancy is available for an additional charge. Please contact Golf Santee for specific single occupancy rates. Single occupancy rates vary from one accommodation to another.

What is the local accommodations tax that will be applied to my package?

How and when do I pay the balance of my Golf Santee vacation package?
The balance of your Golf Santee vacation will be due prior to arrival. Golf Packages at the hotels are required to be paid in full no less than 4 days (96 hours) prior to arrival. Golf packages at villas and condos are required to be paid in full no less than two (2) weeks prior to arrival.
Payment options are:
~A personal check (one check for whole group or checks from each individual) in office 2 weeks prior to arrival. Checks should be made payable to: Golf Santee and have reservation number noted on check.
~A cashier’s check or money order due in office no less than 4 days (96 hours) prior to arrival.
~We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit/debit cards. You may pay with credit card online or over the phone however authorization must be given no less than4 days (96 hours) prior to arrival to avoid group leader being charged for all golfers. We suggest having indivduals’ credit cards on file with our office a week in advance.

Are carts included?
Cart rental is included for 18 holes per day of golf. Additional holes may be played at the same course in the afternoon for a replay fee. This fee varies from course to course. Golfers can also arrange a guaranteed replay in advance.

What is a guaranteed replay?
Many groups want to be certain they can play 36 holes of golf in one day. Many courses allow a guaranteed replay to be booked in advance just like your other golf package rounds but at a favorable rate or guaranteed replay rate. This rate is slightly higher than a replay booked on space availability after your morning golf round, but less than the price of golf for the day.

Do I check in at Golf Santee?
No, check-in is at the property in which you will be staying. Clarks Inn or the Quality Inn & Suites offer check-in at the front desk. The villas and condos have a combination code that is issued to the group leader. The group leader is responsible for letting the other members of his group know which unit has been rented and the combination code to enter. Packets containing golf vouchers, and breakfast vouchers where applicable, await you at the accommodations property.

Can I play golf before check-in?
Yes, since golf package vacations are paid in full prior to arrival, we will fax your golf voucher to the golf course ahead of time allowing you to go straight to the golf course and play before checking in. Golf vouchers for additional rounds scheduled during your vacation will await you at the front desk upon check-in and should be presented at the appropriate course upon arrival the day of golf.

How do I make changes to my Golf Santee vacation?
The staff at Golf Santee is glad to assist you with all changes to your package up to 96 hours prior to your arrival date (cancellation deadline). Any changes made to the Golf Santee vacation package are to be made only through Golf Santee – not directly with the hotel or golf course. Changes will only be allowed through the group leader, not by individuals in the group.

What’s the cancellation policy?
Golf package vacations at the hotel are cancelled without penalty up to 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival date. Golf package vacations at the villas/condos are cancelled up to 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival date however do have a nonrefundable deposit penalty. Cancellations include reducing group numbers, leaving early, arriving late, changing courses and no shows. There is no refund for unused portions of the golf package.

What is the inclement weather policy?
We wish we could say that Santee’s green and lush courses stay that way without the inconvenience of rain however Mother Nature also visits Santee from time to time. In the event of inclement weather we have outlined fair and reasonable options below:
If the golf course management closes the course you will be given a refund for the golf portion of the package. This will be done
through Golf Santee -- not the golf course.
If the golf course remains open you have the following options:
¨ You may play.
¨ You may reschedule for later that same day, or another day during your stay, if the course has an opening.
¨ You may take a credit in merchandise equal to the value of your golf for that day, which may vary at each course.
¨ You may get a rain check at the golf course valid for 1 year.
In the event that inclement weather affects your package, Golf Santee suggests that you make the necessary arrangements if at all possible while you are in town rather than wait until you have returned home.

Is there a discount if I bring a certain number of golfers?
On Golf Santee vacations at the hotels we offer one (1) complimentary package per 16 golfers based on double occupancy OR the use of a hospitality room at the Quality Inn & Suites or Clark’s Inn. The Villas at Chapel Creek offer one (1) complimentary package per 16 golfers based on quad occupancy. The discount will be based on members having the same arrival and departure days and golf schedule. There are no large group incentives at Ballard Pointe condos.
