Finding your Way to Golf Santee!®
Well, we are halfway between New York and Florida; just a pitch shot
from I-95, just off EXIT 98. Enough said, but in case you are
not going to be coming that way...
From I-26, eastbound, take EXIT 154 (Santee/Orangeburg/Hwy. 301
North). Follow Hwy. 301 North for approximately 16 miles until
it merges with I-95 North. The very next EXIT is #98. EXIT NOW.
If you prefer to travel from I-26 to Santee via Hwy. 6, then take
EXIT #136 (St. Matthews/North/Hwy. 6). Travle Hwy. 6 east through
St. Matthews and continue on for approximately 25 miles before
reaching the Santee town limits.
From Charleston, or I-26 westbound, take EXIT #169 A onto I-95
North towards Florence. Travel to EXIT #98, then EXIT NOW.
From I-77 South, merge with I-26 eastbound, take EXIT #154 (Santee
/Orangeburg/Hwy. 301 North). Follow Hwy. 301 North for approximately
16 miles until it merges with I-95 North. The very next EXIT is
#98. EXIT NOW.
Airports
Santee is situated directly between Columbia Metropolitan Airport
(CAE) and Charleston International Airport (CHS). Each airport
is easily accessible to the interstate and about an hour from
our doorstep.
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about 2 hours
from Santee and often times offers very reasonable fares. Don't
worry about the drive: it is an easy drive down I-77 to I-26 to
Santee.
Yes, I said DRIVE! There is no shuttle service, taxi service,
bus/public transport system or local limo service in Santee so
plan on renting a car at the airport unless your pals are going
to pick you up. You will need wheels to get just about everywhere. |
